Pension "Aara-Wakka" is not a pet-only lodging, so we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Appi Kogen is a dog-friendly place...we believe it is a wonderful environment.

◎Pets are also part of the family, and well-trained indoor dogs are welcome to stay in your room.
◎Basically, we limit pets to two per group, and please only use the room, so we appreciate your cooperation.
◎Please keep your pet on a leash when walking, do not trespass on private property, and always put any waste in a bag.
◎Please be aware that some guests do not like pets.
◎Please leave your pet in your room or car during meal times. You cannot eat with your pet in the dining room.

[Pet Accommodation Fees]
■Small dogs and cats: ¥1,100 per pet (tax included)
■Medium and large dogs: ¥2,200 per pet (tax included)
※Reservations for medium and large dogs must be made by phone. We may also limit the number of rooms available or refuse to allow your pet to stay.
※Small dogs are generally defined as dogs up to the size of a Shiba Inu (approximately 10kg), and medium dogs are generally defined as dogs up to the size of a Labrador Retriever (approximately 30kg).
※ We generally do not accept extra-large dogs (over 40kg) such as Alaskan Malamutes or Bernese Mountain Dogs. *Extra-large dogs may be accommodated as long as they have a calm temperament, but please contact us in advance.

Damage or soiling of room furnishings caused by pets will be charged to the owner.
